Introducing the Armilla Aero-Ballistic NATO strap. Armilla are a UK based company founded in 2016, specialising in manufacturing premium NATO straps. They currently offer two styles; the Aero-Ballistic and the Vestigo. Andrei, the owner of Armilla has informed me that they are currently working on a new leather NATO strap that should be released very soon. The Aero-Ballistic that we have here, is what Armilla call, a tribute to aviation and are available in four sizes; 18, 20, 22 & 24mm. Additionally, there are four colour options; Ice Blue, Khaki Field, Military Grey & Moss Green.

Delivery & Packaging
Delivery of the Aero-Ballistic strap took less than 24 hours to arrive via Royal Mail. Armilla do offer free international shipping with all their straps. The packaging is good with everything contained in an envelope with stiff card backing. Inside you’ll find your strap of choice wrapped in plastic as well as a rather nice high quality aviation print measuring approximately 21cm x 14.5cm.
Materials & Design
The Armilla Aero-Ballistic NATO strap is made from a premium soft & silk-like nylon dense material giving it a very comfortable fit yet giving it a more improved and modern take on the more traditional military strap as used by the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) back in the 1970’s & 80’s. The strap is 325mm in length and 1.4mm thick which is ideal for any size wrist. The hardware used is polished and of a very premium quality. There is also a very handy flying keeper for optimum adjustment.
Conclusion
An excellent NATO strap manufactured with great materials giving a very premium look and feel.
